The Indian Prime Minister recently visited the Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok, officially known as Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan, during his diplomatic visit to Thailand. 

About Wat Pho Temple

• Location: It is a famous Buddhist temple situated on Rattanakosin Island, Bangkok. 
• Renowned For: The temple is known for its 46-meter-long gold-plated Reclining Buddha, symbolizing the Buddha's entry into complete spiritual enlightenment. 
• Historical Background: 
  • One of the most prominent temples built during the reign of King Rama I of the Chakri Dynasty. 
  • It was later expanded and renovated by King Rama III.
