• The Lok Sabha and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) have agreed to develop the Sansad Bhashini initiative to enhance AI-powered multilingual operations in Parliament. 

 About the Sansad Bhashini Initiative 

• Aim: The initiative seeks to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to improve multilingual support and streamline parliamentary operations. 
• Bhashini: An AI-powered language translation platform developed by MeitY, it will facilitate communication in multiple languages in Parliament.
