- An automated system integrating ground and aerial sensors to create a Common Surveillance Picture over secure networks.
Key Features
- Advanced Sensors & Analytics: Monitors borders, prevents intrusions, and enhances situational awareness.
- Network-Centric: Provides real-time inputs for conventional and sub-conventional operations.
- Indigenous Development: Jointly developed by Indian Army and BEL, supporting ‘Aatmanirbharta’.
- Phased Induction: Deployment across Brigades, Divisions, and Corps in three phases (March–October 2025).
Significance
- Enhances battlefield transparency, supports decision-making, and modernizes military operations.
- Developed at a cost of ₹2,402 crore, aligning with the ‘Year of Reforms’ in the Ministry of Defence.
