Why in the News? 

• The Ministry of Education has launched PM-YUVA 3.0, a scheme aimed at mentoring young authors in India. 

Key Highlights: 

• Aim: The scheme is designed to train young authors under 30 years of age to foster a culture of reading, writing, and book creation. 
• Selection and Training Process: 50 authors will be selected through a nationwide contest and will undergo structured training. 
• Implementation: The National Book Trust, India will serve as the implementing agency, ensuring mentorship for the selected authors. 
• Significance: The initiative strengthens Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, promoting cultural and literary exchange across the country.
