The Indian Naval Ship Mumbai took part in the multinational La Perouse exercise, led by France, with participation from eight other countries: India, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, UK, and Singapore.

INS Mumbai: Key Information
INS Mumbai is the third Delhi-class guided missile destroyer, built indigenously and commissioned into the Indian Navy on January 22, 2001, at Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai. The ship has won multiple accolades, including being named the 'Best Ship' three times and the 'Most Spirited Ship' twice.
It has played a pivotal role in major operations such as Op Parakram (2002), Op Sukoon (2006), and Op Rahat (2015). The ship underwent a mid-life upgrade and joined the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam on December 8, 2023.

- Displacement: Over 6500 tons, manned by 350 sailors and 40 officers.
- Dimensions: 163 meters in length and 17 meters at the beam, capable of speeds over 32 knots.
- Armament: Equipped with Surface-to-Surface Missiles, Surface to Air Missiles, Anti-Submarine rockets, and torpedoes for powerful firepower.
- Helicopter Operations: Can operate all types of naval helicopters, enhancing its operational capabilities.
