Why in the News?  

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake held ‘fruitful’ discussions with India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval during his three-day visit to India. This is Mr. Dissanayake’s first foreign trip after assuming office as President.
