Why in the News?

The Indian Army has deployed a contingent of Special Forces to participate in the 9^th edition of the joint military exercise 'Garud Shakti' with the Indonesian Army. The exercise, scheduled to take place from 1^st November to 12^th November 2024, in Cijantung, Jakarta, Indonesia, aims to enhance military cooperation between the two nations.
