National Consumer Day 

National Consumer Day is observed annually on 24th December in India. This date marks the approval of the Consumer Rights Act by the President of India on 24^th December 1986, making it a significant occasion to recognize and promote consumer rights. 

International Day of Epidemic Preparedness 

The International Day of Epidemic Preparedness is observed annually on 27^th December. Established by the United Nations General Assembly, the first observance on 27^th December 2020 highlighted the critical importance of prevention, preparedness, and global cooperation in combating epidemics. The WHO actively collaborates with governments to support these efforts.
