Sushil Kumar Singh Appointed as Chairperson of Deendayal Port Authority

  • Sushil Kumar Singh was appointed by the government to lead the Deendayal Port Authority, formerly Kandla Port.
  • He is a joint secretary in charge of ports, PPP and PHRD in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
  • He succeeded S. K. Mehta.

  • The World Health Organization (WHO) has conferred the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru with the Nelson Mandela Award for 2024.
