• Arti received the Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award in London.
• She is an 18-year-old e-rickshaw driver from a small village in Uttar Pradesh and arrived in a pink rickshaw showing it as an eco-friendly way to travel and a symbol of a larger movement.
• The award recognised the global work of young women who have succeeded against the odds and made a lasting difference to those around them.

Indian and Bangladesh Inaugurated Sun Pharma in Bangladesh

• High Commissioner of India in Bangladesh and Investment Adviser of Bangladesh jointly inaugurated a new plant of India’s leading pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma near Dhaka.
• This is the company’s second investment in Bangladesh with a production capacity of over 1 billion tablets and capsules per year.
