Gupshup, the conversational engagement platform, has introduced UPI payments for feature phone users through their native app called GSPay.
Developed in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), this app allows users to make payments using SMS or IVR-based systems, eliminating the need for data or internet connectivity.
Gupshup has utilized UPI 123 Pay, an instant payment system launched by the Reserve Bank of India and NPCI, to ensure secure and reliable transactions for feature phone users.
The app will be accessible on the latest models of Nokia 105 and Nokia 106 4G feature phones, in partnership with HMD Global, enabling users to scan QR codes for making payments.
