PM’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024 

Poshan Tracker Application Wins PM’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024 

• The PoshanTracker Application is developed by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD). 

• The Poshan Tracker Application is part of the Poshan Tracker Program, which aims to identify and address growth concerns in children aged 0-6 years. It uses real-time monitoring and WHO growth charts to ensure children receive the necessary nutrition for healthy growth and development. 

Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Award 

The 2025 Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Award was recently conferred upon Achyuta Samanta, the founder of KIIT and KISS, during a ceremony in Kokrajhar, Assam. 

• The Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Award, instituted by the Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust, recognizes outstanding contributions to education, social empowerment, and community upliftment. It is conferred annually on the birth anniversary of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma. 

• The award includes a citation, a memento, and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, presented during a ceremony held in Kokrajhar, Assam.
