Key Changes in CUET-UG 2025

- Mandatory Questions: All questions will now be compulsory, eliminating the option to choose and ensuring standardized assessment for all students.
- Reduction in the Number of Maximum Subjects: Students can now choose a maximum of 5 subjects, compared to 6 subjects as per the previous guidelines. This change aims to reduce academic pressure and strengthen the evaluation process.
- Uniform Exam Duration: The duration for all question papers, irrespective of the subject, will now be fixed at 60 minutes, promoting consistency and uniformity.
- Reduction in the Number of Subjects: The total number of available subjects has been reduced to 37. The number of domain-specific subjects has been reduced to 23. Subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics are no longer part of this list.
- Flexibility in Subject Selection: Students will now be allowed to select subjects they have not studied in Class 12. This step promotes interdisciplinary education and greater flexibility.
These changes highlight a focused effort to simplify the exam process and align the examination system with modern educational trends.
