The CUET will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.

The CUET (UG) 2025 exam will be available in multiple languages to accommodate the diverse linguistic backgrounds of candidates across India. The exam will be conducted in the following 13 languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu.

  • Candidate Choice: Candidates can choose the language in which they are most comfortable for the exam. This choice is made at the time of filling out the application form.
  • Inclusivity: Offering multiple language options ensures inclusivity and accessibility for candidates from different linguistic backgrounds across various regions of India. It allows candidates to take the test in a language they understand best, which can help improve their performance.
  • Equal Weightage: Regardless of the language chosen, the content, difficulty level, and scoring of the exam remain consistent across all languages, ensuring a fair assessment for all candidates.
